Job Title: Subject Teachers (Biology, Chemistry, Agriculture, Physics, Mathematics, English, Literature, Christian Religious Education (CRE), Geography, History, Political Education, Entrepreneurship, kwashili, Physical Education, information Communication Technology (lCT) Art and Design and Luganda.) (15 positions)
Reports to: Head of Department.

Job Summary:

The subject teacher shall be responsible for ensunng that the teaching and learning process at school stimulates student’s improved performance. He/she shall ensure that curriculum delivery is reflected in the scheme of work and that lessons are planned and delivered according to timetable, and record of work maintained. He/ she shall make sure that assignments and tests stimulate memory, comprehension and mastery of content covered. Additionally, the teacher is expected to demonstrate sound administrative and people management skills; including living up to the teacher’s professional code of conduct and setting a good example to the entire school community, maintaining quest for learning as the leading learner.

Minimum Requirements:

• University Degree in Secondary Education and management or a related discipline (Masters Degree is an added advantage). 3 years’ expenence in a similar educational institution or a related function.
• The ideal candidate should have sound values; strong teaching and assessment experience; team-management.-‘
• supervision; ability to communicate effectively; strong interpersonal skills; resultsoriven; ability to work independentty and take initiative; and demonstrated discretion.Job Skills: Not Specified
