Whisper Hospital (“A Magical Rebirth for Everyone!”) is a pediatric and maternal healthcare facility providing high-quality, compassionate clinical services, emergency care, and maternal health support in Eastern and Central Uganda.

Position Overview

Whisper Hospital is recruiting a skilled and compassionate Midwife to deliver comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care at their Jinja duty station. The Midwife will oversee safe child delivery, handle emergency maternal interventions, execute neonatal resuscitation, and ensure high-quality patient care.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Medical Facilities & Services

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery from a recognized training institution.
  • Active registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in midwifery and delivery management.
  • Demonstrated skills in safe delivery and neonatal resuscitation, strong compassionate care, and effective communication.
