Job Purpose
To provide and maintain curative and preventive health care services in accordance with National
Health Service standards.

Key Outputs
i. Patients diagnosed, treated, reviewed & evaluated;
ii. Public health practices promoted;
iii. Research activities & Health data collected;
iv. Outreach Health Service Programmes implemented;
v. Continued professional development done;
vi. Professional and Service codes of conduct and ethics enforced;
vii. Periodic reports prepared; and
viii.Accountability for financial and other resources carried out.

Key Functions
i. Diagnosing, treating and managing patients;
ii. Promoting public health practices in the community;
iii. Participating in research activities and health data collection; and
iv. Participating in continued professional development.
