FH is currently operating programs in Asia, Latin America and Africa with support offices in the UK, Canada, Switzerland, Sweden, United States of America and Japan. In Uganda, FH is operational in the Districts of Adjumani, Kitgum, Lamwo, Kole, Kween, Mbale, Namutumba and Amudat Districts implementing programs in four main sectors of Education; Food Security and Livelihoods; Health/Nutrition and Disaster Risk Reduction; with the Head office located in Kampala. .

Job Title: Community Development Facilitator- Health and Nutrition (1 position) Position Type: Full Time National Staff Location: Field Based -Namutumba Reports to: Program Area Manager Contract Length: 2 years (Fixed contract) Start Date: April

Position Summary: The CDF- Health & Nutrition is responsible for supporting all health and nutrition activities within the cluster. In addition to the specific duties outlined below, the CDF- Health & Nutrition will be responsible for providing technical support and supervision to the health volunteer teams; contributing to reporting and data collection; initiating leading monitoring visits to supported facilities, and providing technical input, writing and budgetary input for new program design. The person MUST have a valid motorcycle RIDDING PERMIT, including the ability to RIDE

Responsibilities and duties: Key Result #1: Program delivery
• Work closely with the Program Area Manager to achieve program objectives and targets effectively and efficiently.
• Implement train Cascade lead volunteers
Key Result #2: Coordination and reporting
Facilitate coordination meetings, advocacy meetings and awareness raising sessions at the community level, together with community health promoters/volunteers.
Collect and compile project data regularly to submit to the Program Area Manager, including case studies, success stories and photographs of facilities.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Health-related sector, Food science, Nutrition and relevant work experience
• A minimum of Four (4) years’ practical experience working in communities with Health and Nutrition practices and expe

Job Experience Requirements:
• A minimum of Four (4) years’ practical experience working in communities with Health and Nutrition practices and experience. Previous work in a refugee context is an added advantage.

Work Hours: 8
